So you know that feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when you see flashing lights come up behind you? And you know that big sigh of relief you get when they drive right on past you? GUESS WHAT? They did NOT drive right past me today! That feeling in the pit of my stomach just kept getting worse! They pulled in right behind me and walked up to my car and told me NOT to get out of my vehicle! Im too old to bat my baby blues at them anymore! Got a ticket on East Cotati Avenue for going 41 mph in a 25 mph zone. I think he could have knocked off that 1 and just made it 40 mph! Wonder what that little 1 might cost me! What could I say except...you are right...I was speeding! Damn it! When was YOUR last speeding ticket? Its something newer that radar called LIDAR! (A LiDAR speed gun is a device used by the police for speed limit enforcement which uses LiDAR to detect the speed of a vehicle. Unlike Radar speed guns, which rely on doppler shifts to measure the speed of a vehicle, these devices allow a police officer to measure the speed of an individual vehicle within a stream of traffic.) Keep it under the speed limit everybody!
