Me: ::blinkblinkblink::::Do I like to put what in the small crack or the big crack? 4 year old: Yes. Me: Lets try again. What am I putting in the small or big crack? 4 year old: The blue thing. Me: Ok. Now we are getting somewhere. Is the blue thing in this classroom? Can you show it to me? 4 year old: No. Me: Are the small or big cracks in the classroom? Can you show them to me? 4 year old: No. Me: Can you draw a picture for me of the blue thing, or the small and big cracks? 4 year old: YES!!!!....oh wait....no. Me: Why do I need to put the blue thing in the cracks? 4 year old: Yes. Me: (I.dont.get.paid.enough.) Ok. Im just going to say that I like to put the blue thing in the small crack. 4 year old: ::fist pumping::: I KNEW IT!!!! (Runs back to a group of friends) You guys, she likes to put it in the small crack!!!!! The groups cheers. Yay!!!!!!! And for the 3,457th time in the day I ask myself, What in the hell just happened here?.
