Soap box sermon of the day. Today, our soap box sermon is inspired by Rebecca Michelson (spelling is likely wrong), of The Vampire Diaries. Klaus mocks and berates her for how easily and how often she falls in love. I have more loved ones than I can count, who are this same type of person...the romantics of this world are all around me, those whose hearts open like flowers and shatter like vases. I pity them, but at the same time, I admire them, they do not have crushes, rather, they genuinely fall in love, so easily, as if their hope is never ending, never waning, just flowing forever, never giving up that insatiable hunger for that fairy tale love. I admire these pitiful souls because THEY are the true humanists, the true believers that each one is worth it. Even after their hearts shatter over and over again, they still...knowingly...risk it again and again, knowing that it could end the same way as the last, but taking that leap once more... I admire them...because they are so determined, that they continue to better themselves with each failed attempt at true love I admire them because unlike those who become angrier with each shattering, the romantics become more desperate, not in a bad way, but opening them up to more possibilities. I admire them for their courage, their faith, their quest. Oh dont get me wrong, I still pity them...I pity anyone in love, but ah...watching you be in love is like looking into the face of the divine. And you know that I love the divine. So...keep it up my darling doves...because guess what...its the romantics who are the Muses of the earthly plane. Blessings to you and yours. And much love. :-D
