Soapbox moment: ESPN cant keep our schools name out their mouth. Jameis wakes up. Story. Jameis brushes his teeth. Story. Jameis eats scrambled eggs instead of sunny side up. Story. I would love to put my voice in the media and talk about sports, something I love. And, I understand why the media does what it does. Not just talking about my schools quarterback either. The media was on Gurleys jock for the first month of the season. Now, hes an afterthought. Many other players/people have been convicted in public opinion without even a charge, indictment, etc. This goes beyond sports. But, sports makes the world go round. Everybody assumes everything they hear as truth because it sounds good and it will help get followers. But the main issue is people these days dont take responsibility when they happen to be wrong. Were supposedly the finest country in the world, but even third world nations laugh at our corruption with how we treat each other. Its going to take another act of terror or our own genocide before we think to ourselves, is this stuff we piss and moan about, really that serious? That was a lot, I know. It is what it is.
