Social (Club) Fee: $ 20 (Non Driving) For those who want to - TopicsExpress

Social (Club) Fee: $ 20 (Non Driving) For those who want to attend meetings, receive club newsletters. Includes members (Family or Single) of other ACDS affiliated clubs. There is NO insurance cover under this membership and you cannot drive at ACDS (including club) activities and have no voting rights. There is no other option for someone to join more than one club other than this on our membership form. Is this right and is it the same on other clubs membership forms? That being a full member of our club including ACDS membership, if I were to become a social member of say Central Highlands i.e. pay their full club fee, I would get their newsletter but would not be entitled to drive at their rallies despite having already paid my ACDS membership fee with Grampians and their club fee minus the ACDS membership? Does not make sense to me. If I am already a full member of ACDS and pay the club fee portion of the membership at Central (or any other additional club) then surely I am a full member of the additional club (having paid the same club fee portion as any of their full members the only difference being the ACDS fee which I have already paid), and should be entitled to drive with them (or any other club for which I pay the club fee portion) and participate in their club events and should not have to pay a non member fee to do so as implied by this? Perhaps someone wiser than I could explain the logic of the above to me if this woding is applied across the board for all clubs?
