Social Experiment: Change Relationship Status Hypothesis: To see if people on FB will be nosy enough to like and comment and even go further to engage me outside of the realm of FB for details into who im in a relationship with. And what people true feelings would be as a result of the status change. Results: Influx of inbox/text messages as a result of changing my relationship status. Not only did women inquire, but I also had some of my homies hit me up some of which admitted to trolling (Twatching) FB as they dont post or appear to be regular FB users. Others wished me well, hoping shes a good woman. Many of my close female friends dug and dug inquiring for the juicy details! Opinion on Findings: Keep your personal life private, no one needs to know what you do or who you do it with. When they do know these things people will have an opinion to express and information they all of a sudden are dying to get out of you. When you post things on social networks you leave yourself out there for criticism whether it is good or bad and this is a perfect example of that. If you are HAPPY with your life be happy, public social network perception shouldnt matter or have any bearing on ones happiness. Thanks to everyone that participated! Am I in a relationship?
