Social Media is an amazing communication tool for RMTs to use not only in their personal lives but also as a professional to exchange ideas and information as well as marketing our small businesses in a cost effective manner. As with all communication tools that are immediate and responsive, there is a “caution” about how we use Social Media. To assist, the MTABC has gone to experts in communications to develop a guideline/policy for individuals and clinics to adopt. As well, we have contracted experts in the field to create workbooks to assist people in understanding how to engaged in social media responsibly.
