Socialism can be attacked by many innovative ideas, many rational facts,many live examples exist to prove the superiority of capitalism over socialism. However still socialism is not anachronistic, its relevant not only for poor but rich as well. One of my aunt was suffering from some gastrointestinal problem for many years. As she has no financial problems so she visited hospitala like Max, Apollo and many super specialist doctors. They prescribed her costly tests, she went through endoscopy so many times. Every report was normal but every new physician wanted her to go for tests afresh (to make money). She spent lakhs of rupees, she had no money problem at all but being an old lady, it was difficult for her going through painful tests, no meaningful relief.. One of her relative suggested her a Govt dispensary, the government doctor (mere MBBS) didnt ask her to go for further tests as there was no requirement and he had no profit motive as he works on salary, he gives medicines for free. He found there was no major problems in her stomach, gave her some tablets to nourish her intestines and she has got great relief today.. Few days back i had read that as per a research, in about 50% cases, bypass surgery is enforced on heart patients in capitalist private hospitals, stents are recommend when there was no need for that. You see, govt laws, rules, circulars, vigilance etc cant curtail the human greed, there is always some scope, discretionary powers that super specialist docs enjoy. Socialism is panacea for human greed..We love you Marx ~
