Khilafat was a system of succession; it decided who the next Khalifa would be. Socialism has no Khalifas, kings or emperors. In Socialism, the people rule the country. Socialism will radically alter the very nature of business and politics, and bring them under the control of the people. No longer will there be rich and poor. The development of the country will be based on science, technology and social equality. It will give everyone a job, free medical care, free education, and raise the standards of living. It will give everyone equal rights to practice their religion. These are the difference between Socialism and Khilafat.
