Society always tries to suppress the flowering of intelligence in an individual. But if somehow it gets flowered, the individual is declared a rebel by the society as he/she poses danger/challenge to the blindness which appears to be giving comfort (remaining mentally inactive). Society always wants blind followers (without questioning or verifying or experimenting) of traditional ideas/concepts, religious/spiritual ideas/concepts or for that matter any other idea which is followed. This tendency/unawareness (collective habit/asleep state) is root of all past and present violence in the world and will remain so in the future too. And the greatest contradiction is that the ideas/concepts which are being/supposed to be followed are of those great ones who were declared rebels by the contemporary societies. We are following them who never followed anyone. Further we are not allowed by the society to think/discuss whether all the ideas/concepts given by the great ones are still valid/useful to the present society or not, because many ideas/concepts are conceptualized/ideated based on a set of contemporary factors/circumstances which never get repeated.
