Software Engineer (Front-end), LOCK8 lock8.me/ As the winner of TechCrunch Disrupt Europe 2013 LOCK8 is developing the worlds first intelligent bike lock. If you are a great software engineer passionate about web development let us know. We need your help to build a highly sophisticated fleet management system. As an engineer you will work on a small team having a significant impact on our business. The position is located in Berlin, Germany and may require occasional traveling to customers and other cooperation partners around the world. We are an ambitious Startup Tech company, specialized in bicycle security and global bike sharing. We are incredibly passionate about disrupting sustainable transportation within cities. We strive to constantly improve the best hardware and software solutions, bringing innovation and creativity through hackathon style team sessions. Tasks and responsibilities: § Design and implement user-facing features in our fleet management application § Work closely with our designers and back-end team to create fast, easy-to-use, production web applications § Maximize software speed and scale § factoring in network latency and bandwidth constraints Requirements § CS degree or related technical field or equivalent practical experience § 1 year relevant work experience § Experience in web application development § Javascript on a variety of frameworks (jQuery, Angular etc.), HTML5 and CSS § Fluent in English § Preferably experience with various web APIs for mapping and payment What we offer: § Motivated team with excellent team spirit § Creative solutions are encouraged § Diversity within daily tasks § A rapidly growing company in the heart of Berlin Office located in: Mitte, Berlin Is remote work possible?
