Solar City finished, the county inspector came and approved the installation of the new box and the inverter, PG&E hooked the line back up, and power was back on by about 3:30. One of the things I most appreciate about all this is that the solar company did all the scheduling and coordination of agencies. Except for Bobs pulling the PG&E truck out of the mud this morning and providing porcelain facilities for the guys to use while they were here, we were only required to lounge around. Bob, of course, cant lounge (constitutionally incapable), but I tried to maintain my portion of the requirement. Now we only have to wait for PG&E to come back and install a meter that is capable of running backward. I like the sound of that!
