Solid workout to get the week going. Started powerlifting legend Ed Coans deadlift routine using a desired 1RM of 530lbs by the end of the 10 week program. For more info on the Coan DL program, go to: seriouspowerlifting/3279/articles/ed-coan-deadlift-routine Barbell Deadlift 395x2 (75% of 1RM goal), 315x8x3 (speed work with 60% for 1RM goal) Stiff Legged Deadlift 3x8x315lbs Barbell Bent Over Row 3x8x185lbs (way harder than normal after DL and SLDL work!) One-arm Lat Pulldown 3x8 each side (140lbs) Good Morning 3x8x135lbs (havent done these in ages so starting conservative and will ramp up over the course of the program) Finished with Double Kettlebell Swings 3x15x70lb bells Practice sets during the day Five sets of three with double 84lb bells. Groove is coming back nicely and the bells are feeling light
