Solidarity Alert: Fishing for Justice On December 16th, workers at the Norpel fish processing plant were fired after engaging in a peaceful, lawful concerted activity in defended of their rights on the job: requesting a meeting to discuss fair pay and treatment. Assault and battery was committed by the employer on one of the workers who was subsequently taken to the emergency room.
