Some 80’s? Here are todays featured albums that recently made their way onto the shelves at the shop and they’re all from the 1980’s. “Get Close” (1986) was a big seller for The Pretenders and featured two #1 hits; “True Stories” (1986) by Talking Heads was released at the same time as the David Byrne film of the same name; “The Seer” (1986) by Scottish band Big Country featured Kate Bush on the title song and finally “Brimstone and Treacle” (1982) is the soundtrack for the 1982 film made from the play. The film starred Sting and involved difficult subject matter – the BBC chose not to air the original TV play in 1976 - but it finally was shown 5 years after the film.
