Some Americans are not taking the new surveillance society sitting - TopicsExpress

Some Americans are not taking the new surveillance society sitting down. The government might think it can shoot video of us 24/7, but the town council of Deer Trail, Colorado, has a response to that: shoot back. Council member Philip Steel has proposed an ordinance that would sell drone hunting licenses for 25 bucks a pop, and pay a $100 bounty for every drone a licensed hunter shoots down. There is the problem that it’s illegal to destroy federal property, but Steel says it’s “very symbolic.” He wants to send a message to Washington: fly your aerial surveillance drones into Deer Trail, and they’ll get shot down. I have no doubt that a lot of American hunters could shoot down a drone. I just wonder how you’d field dress and cook one.
