Some PGA golf professionals it can take up to 6 years to complete their education to be become a Class A member. The amount of long days and hours that go into it are extremely challenging at times. The balance between working up to 60 hours a week during peak golf season, personal family time, and completing PGA work activities becomes at times very stressful. These work weeks sound no different to many people in America that work hard to provide for their families and give them a life of enjoyment. Golf is the opportunity for a short time on leisure days off to forget all this. A chance to enjoy the outdoors. A chance to be with friends and family. A chance to enjoy why you work so hard. Pace of Play on the golf course can ruin golfs chances to do all of this for you if not taken seriously. Golf Professionals and the USGA are campaigning around the United States to help with these issues.
