Some US grade school curriculums now include an activity book designed by biotech companies and associations. This book teaches that GMOs are an improvement over nature, can help the environment and grow more and better food--assertions that peer reviewed studies currently contradict. For example, we know that pesticide use and human ingestion of these chemicals has multiplied as a result of current GMO crops--this is a matter of fact GMO corps and USDA admit. We also know that super pests have evolved in response to GMOs, and this has changed the environment in ways no one I know wants.
