Some West Texas citizens had power problems last night, after an 18-wheeler collided with a Sharyland Utilities transmission tower at 6:50 PM yesterday. The interruption was mostly momentary, as crews were able to bring most of the areas power back online by 8:00 PM last night. Some Greenwood customers may have taken longer to have their power restored. Sharyland reminded its customers that whenever they experience an outage, they should contact the utility immediately at 1-800-442-8688.
