Some advice (if you want it)...if not...ignore me. LOL! Be sure to set aside time to prep your fresh veggies and fruits so that you have them readily available to eat or to snack on. If you have things that are quick to grab and eat, you will more likely grab those instead of high caloric foods. Plus, you kids will be more likely to snack on them instead of junk. I find that if you Fail to Plan, you can Plan to Fail.
