Some amazing intel received from an NSW marine parks insider who is disgusted with their covert dishonest research in support of the greenies push for the Sydney Harbour Marine Park. What the Marine Parks Authority want to do is ‘prove’ that rec fishing is negatively affecting fish stocks in the Harbour. So they are intentionally putting bait dispensers in parts of the Harbour with low fish stocks – on barren mud banks, for instance – and avoiding areas of broken reef which hold high concentrations of fish life. Where they want to show an increase in fish life – for instance, at Julien Rocks, after the fishing ban – the bait stations and cameras are placed in the area of highest fish activity, to ‘prove’ the fishing ban worked. In Sydney Harbour, the bait stations are being placed in areas of low fish activity, to ‘prove’ a fishing ban is needed.
