Some comments I read here shows that some Nigerians have really lost it completely. I was in Church and saw the body of two policemen killed in cold blood. And some people are justifying this? Lord have mercy. If you must know, the Senior pastor does not own an exclusive car talk less of a jet. He does not walk around with an air. He does not have a special seat in the church. The church has one of the best welfare schemes around. Right there and then, he was already talking of how the family of the policemen is to be comforted and helped with full scholarship for their children. The church has a weekly feeding program in various parts of Ibadan for the underprevildged. Unemployed members of the church are provided with food stuff constantly, prisoners at Agodi prison know the church well because of its charity and evangelical work. The truth is when we stand before God, we will stand alone. The Bible is our manual. If your standard is a crooked Pastor somewhere and you use that to determine your eternity, one can only wish you luck. And as one of my secondary school teachers will say if you serve God sincerely on earth only to die and find out there is no God, youll have lost nothing. The greatest disaster will be for you not to worship Him and discover that He is waiting for you. And worst still, you can not now make amends.
