Some days after that awesome anvil on the 20th of May, there was another interesting system happening. This day was the 23rd of May. Another day of no actually chasing because there was another lack of transport.. However; There were a lot of Thunderstorms going on in the Benelux and I needed to wait and have some luck in my hometown and I had some luck. Id learned how to make timelapses and I wanted to try that and I had the great opportunity to test it on that day. So I put my camera on in my room, right behind the window and I turned it on and put it on video mode. Just to speed it up later, I thought and after that I just took a chair and sat next to it and enjoyed the thunder. After a couple of minutes there were been some thunders, but out of the reach of my camera boundaries and then.. BOOM! A wonderful CC ( Cloud to Cloud ) Lightning came right in front of me, and my camera, while shooting a video on 30fps and I was like: OMG, Thats cool!! Lets check that out! So I did watched that file back and it was just.. perfect to me, the first time I was doing it and I got it almost right away. Even after 2 years I am still very happy about it, and I dont even care what quality it is. I just love this kind of videos! Check it out on Youtube: https://youtube/watch?v=E53TjwwvNgo I really finished it up and edited it and put it on YouTube and Facebook afterwards and went back to the thunderstorms but it was already over. But still I checked out every single radar image that came out every 5 minutes and I was stoked about the fact that it was that active and saw another huge thunderstorm developing far away from me to the north-east and I knew a place where I had a wonderful view to the north-east, so I asked my parents to take me there, and they did. So after a couple of minutes I was on that place, and had a wonderful view of that thunderstorm and the sunset. I have never seen that much color on a sunset.
