Some days, the blessings overtake me. Seldom do I ever have to correct Reno. He is such a great kid and tries so hard to please. Today, I had to correct him for something very minor. He and Mathew met me for lunch. Reno bumped into a stand while not looking and almost knocked it over. I could see the alligator tears forming in his eyes just as the words left my mouth. Hating that he takes things so hard, I stuck my thumb to his nose and said, “You got that kid? If not, tough luck for you because you are stuck with me no matter how many things you knock over….” Before I could finish, he had wrapped his arms around me.
