Some days think about my life and what I have accomplished. I - TopicsExpress

Some days think about my life and what I have accomplished. I think about what ifs too. If joined the Army instead of going to college would life had been different for me? Of course it would have. But do I regret it? Not really. I made my choices and I have to live with them. I dont have my name on back, but on my chest. My speed is gone but not my heart. I dont have a stadium cheering for me. I have the whole nation on my side. Would I have liked to have made it to the NFL? Yes, I would have. Heck, the thought of getting one more down more at Barber-Scotia College passes by my mind like clouds in the sky. Hearing my name called during the NFL draft for the Washington Redskins and seeing the tears of joy flow from my mothers (Penny Claudia Black)eyes at the moment she sees all her work and sacrificing was worth it. Instead of I had years of disappointment, pain, yelling and evictions that made life didnt seem worth the time. Until I saw for a split second at Ft. Jackson when I was marching in formation on BCT Graduation the joy and pride my mother had when she saw me in formation. I happy my life has gotten so much better since I joined. And I glad I keep in touch with my old teammates from Cell Block D(BeatMaker Will, Antonio Langston, Brian Anthony DeGeare, Al-tj John , AJ Bn ). I am also happy I married the woman never stopped thinking about (Latysha Hatch) since the last since the last time I saw her. And close friends who stuck by me in my darkest times(Rem Lang, Patrick Poteat, Jessica Naegler, Karla Karasu Bender, Aaron Keating, Aneesah Rasheed,Peter Her, Alysia Victoria Parker). In any case, thanks for reading and I hope you keep up with this crazy show of a life I have to live.
