Some experience i want to share with you guys: During yesterdays super-motivating kick-ass training session with Malin Katrin Dietachmayr, Thomas Gross, Melissa Wegner, Brandon Saunders, David Valasek and Chri Ive snatched 100kg, just 5kg less then my lifetime PR. The interesting thing is, i made my 105kg snatch when i was following a competitive programming for like 1 and a half years and was a way stronger then i am today. After that snatch i injured my right wrist on a 140kg C&J attempt so bad that i needed 3 surgeries and i had to take off training with my right arm for 6 months. Then i made my way slowly back with a lot of physio/ostheopathie and everyday mobility work for my wrist. Most weight i snatched since my injury was 90kg, then i skipped barbell work for the last 3 months because i wanted to focus on bodyweight and gymnastics wich is a ton of fun. And suddenly a 10kg improvement! I think better technique created through my gymnastics work(better awareness of where my body is in space while moving) made that possible. I dont care about numbers anymore and more about fun when im moving and workout.
