Some friends and followers are very encouraged and receptive to my political perspectives and in their hunger for trustworthy leadership urge me to run for president. While I really do believe that I am completely qualified and competent to serve in that office, I also recognize that there are others that are just as capable and far better positioned to run. Included in this group is unquestionably Gov. Sarah Palin, Congressman Allan West, Sen. Ted Cruz, and Sen. Rand Paul to name but a few. What is absolutely critical to understand, however, is the fact that the United States is heading into the 2014-2016 cycle of elections while nosing into a potential death spiral. If you think Sarah Palin was attacked unfairly by those who like the status quo, I can tell you that I would be an even bigger target of the Left, the Establishment, and Libertarians alike! Palin is really good. Im really not! Having said that, I will do everything I can to support good candidates at every level win office (that does not include money--which I do not have). What that does include is helping real Constitutional Conservatives identify the issues candidates must support to save our nation from destruction. In that spirit, the first thing that I urge you to demand of any candidate for any office is the recognition that the federal government was never meant to rule over the individual States where there was not an overriding interstate concern! It is a shameful and unconstitutional assumption that States know less and care less about their citizens than the federal government does! That is why the US Constitution limits that authority of the federal government and empowers the separate States and citizens so clearly in the 10th Amendment! I intend to write much more on this subject--and others--in the days, weeks, and months to come; but for starters, you must fiercely demand this political philosophy of any who would ask for your vote in the Senate, the House, and the presidency! The time for action is now and the agent for change to save this nation is you! Let us learn to stand together and redeem the future of this great nation from the ash heap it is almost certain to become if we continue to embrace political institutions and philosophies alien to our founding.
