Such massive changes to the cost of primary health care and the very real risk of the end of many bulk billing services would have put enormous pressure on the public hospital outpatient waiting rooms in Queensland. This change to Medicare would have impacted the most vulnerable in the community disproportionately. Im glad to see the Federal Government came to the logical conclusion on this issue, Australians dont want a two tiered health system. Lets hope they scrap this crap idea for good.
