Some great news about Porter Airlines! Toronto City Council yesterday said YES with a unanimous vote in favour of the city staff report that allows the city, Toronto Port Authority and federal government to negotiate conditions for introducing the CS100 and extending the runway. The vote was 44-0. There is much more work to be done yet but this is a big hurdle cleared in the pursuit of bringing small jets to the airport that can soon fly Torontonians to further destinations such as Los Angeles for discounted prices and reduced times.
