Some information about bear relocation practices in the GYE. This article mentions two bears (including Grizzly 760) that were euthanized because they were frequenting the small community of Clark, Wyoming. Is frequenting an area now a reason to euthanize a bear? My husband and I live in bear country outside the east gate of Yellowstone, and we dont want bears euthanized if they are frequenting our community. We feel that euthanizing bears that are not causing any problems is wrong on so many levels. What do you think?
