Some items come & go before we can really appreciate them. This Edwardian (Sirram trade mark) tin plate picnic set is such an item. We purchased it in a Ballarat house lot a few days ago, it sold, first thing, this morning as soon as we opened the shop when we were preparing to photograph it for our website newlynantiques.au. It really is a rare item. A picnic set, in a small tinplate box (180mm x 240mm x Height 120mm), containing a small spirit stove, containers for tea, sugar, cream & spirits for the stove. With four solid enamel cups & saucers and an enamel sugar bowl. All in very good original order. We sold it for $120.00. Our customer was tickled pink that he had purchased it before we put it into the shop. (6 photos)
