Some leftist gun control advocate asked why people are defending - TopicsExpress

Some leftist gun control advocate asked why people are defending liberty in coffee shops and not on the battlefield. I would like to answer the question. When you join the military, you arent defending freedom. You are defending the profits for oil companies, banks, and defense contractors. The US government props up the Saudi dictatorship and Israeli apartheid while toppling democratically elected governments all around the world. They fund ISIS one week, then fund their enemies the next. Theyve talk about invading Iran and about all the horrors of what goes on there for as long as I can remember, and now they are working with Iran and ignoring all of the atrocities. Im not going to risk my life for some defense contractor. When you join the military, the defense contractors and other multinational corporations get more money, and they use that money for political power, and then get the politicians to violate our rights. The US government violates our rights on a daily basis and it wouldnt make seas to empower them even more. He mentions how gun owners are intimidating fellow Americans. The entire government operates by intimidating people with guns. When the IRS sends you pink slips that say you owe x-amount of money, if they didnt have guns to back it up, no one in their right mind would pay the taxes. When you go to a coffee shop with a gun, you are trying to extend the right to bear arms. The RTBA is a freedom that you are defending by demonstrating. The RTBA defends all other freedoms, such as the freedom to farm. The military did not defend Cliven Bundys freedom, but the private citizens with guns did. A lot gun rights supporters are veterans, and Id guess that the majority of veterans support gun rights. I personally only know one veteran that supports gun control, and he was never in combat. Cj Grisham from OCT is a veteran. Adam Kokesh is a disabled veteran and now understands that the people need to own guns to defend freedom and discourages people from joining the military. I am willing to die to defend freedom. The US could become a battlefield at any second if the US government or the UN try to take our guns. I would fight on that battlefield, but not one in the desert on the other side of the earth where the objective is corporate profits. I hope this answers all questions you have.
