Some more beauties for Beryl week... IDENTIFICATION: Emerald (Green Beryl) CARAT WEIGHT: 2.89ct (Princes) & 1.23ct (Step) QTY. / CUT - SHAPE: 1 / Princess - Square --- 1 / Step - Square MEASUREMENT: 9.2mm & 7mm COLOR / QUALITY: Green / AAA+ CLARITY / TYPE: Transparent VVS2 (10X) / TYPE III (exceptional clarity for this material) TREATMENTS / ENHANCEMENTS: N (no evidence of any enhancements to this stone) ORIGIN: Columbia - Muzo Mine CERTIFICATE / REPORT #: 009462EB & 009541EB COMMENTS: Excellent color & clarity. Here are two super fine green Emeralds where the gem rough was mined from the renown Muzo Mine northwest of Bogota, Columbia. This mine is well known for yielding fine-quality stones of deep green color. These gemstones have a super fine and well saturated emerald green color tone, exceptional clarity with no hazing (due to being heavily included) as most Emeralds I have seen on places like eBay and such. Emeralds of this fine-quality color faceted or even cabbed are guaranteed to command a higher value. Excellent face up appearance and a very gemmy eye appeal indeed, and some of the better Emeralds I have in my personal collection. Absolutely NFS.
