Some more pics of my African adventure. I think the people of Kenya and Tanzania are incredibly resilient and hard working. There is no kind of welfare system so they have only themselves to rely on. Even the children have to work, walking miles to get water or take the goats to graze and child minding while their parents work. I never saw a child with a western toy. They rolled tyres around with sticks, used bike tyres as hoola hoops, played knuckle bones with stones and kicked around balls made of wound up rags. But amazingly always had a smile and a how are you? Truly beautiful people.
