Some observations and reasoning as to why Wales can still win the 6 Nations: yesterday we beat Italy (granted performance was not the best) however Italy are improving beating Ireland and France and only just losing to England in last years competition, so no mugs! France had a terrible year and yet they still pull off a win over England at home. So what does that tell us about England, and France come to us, will they travel well? Scotland and Ireland today will be interesting, a scrappy win for Scotland will certainly put the cat amongst the pigeons! No chance? Thats what we were all probably thinking against the Italians last year! Home advantage is key for Wales this year, trips to Ireland and England will be tough but unless Ireland put in a dazzling performance today Wales have every chance of retaining the title. Yes Wales were below par yesterday but to win and still be slated in the press is a tad harsh, look at the position we were in this time last year and ultimately how the Championship ended! I for one am hoping for same again please.
