Some of my colleagues asked me why am I so much obsessed with Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar ? Am not ashamed to say that that is coz he has / had been a part & parcel of my life, not only for my 10 years playing years between 1985-86 & 1994-95 but also for the last 25 years. Though he is 3 years younger to me and I never was a good batsman during my local club & college level, I really admired and followed him though Viv Richards was my batting idol & Richard Hadlee my bowling hero @ that time. Moreover, Sachin ( the best batsman cricket ever have since Don Bradman) has been an inspiration, a revelation and what not ? to the 1.3 billions of Indians as well as the true cricket loving people around the globe. Cricket has changed a lot, like any sports in the world, since 1989 but when we think about Sachin, we could abruptly say that cricket is a gentlemen game... Some (only some) of his records may be broken but ..there never be another Sachin... Again, am not ashamed to say that Im still emotional thinking & realising that we never be able to bat him live... Sachin, we do miss you & we will.. Wishing you best & best wishes whatever you are up to in future...but, let me tell, cricket is NOT gonna be same without you... Thank you Sachin...Thank you..,
