Some of my face book friends may wonder why I am so pro-Israel and if my point of view upsets any of my friends to the point where they would wish to un-friend me because of it, I will not be offended or upset. Israel is the nation God chose as His people since the days of Abraham and any one can go and read it up in the Bible. Yes all the death and destruction is terrible but why do Hamas use innocents?? They use hospitals to do media interviews, schools to hide rockets etc and then have the nerve to cry foul!! If this was America or Britain or any other European country being attacked in the way Israel is being attacked by Hamas - there would be such a massive outcry of rage and anger it would get everyones attention. Israel has, in my humble opinion, the fullest right on earth to defend its self and its citizens. They do everything in their power to make sure their women and children are being kept safe. They are not cowards who hide behind their innocent people. I also have a second and to me much more serious reason to keep praying for the protection of Israel and her people. We have a family member, Andres brother - Eben and his children, who are living in Israel. Yes, he could leave but he will not leave his children behind. Their mother is an Israeli lady and has custody of the children.......so as a father or a mother in this situation......would you abandon your children? Hamas would.....or worse hide behind them. I will continue to pray for and support Israel as long as I draw breathe and also ask that those of you who are able and willing would do the same. Also please pray for our brother and his family. Thank you.
