Some of my former students will remember that I held up a Time magazine with a black mans picture on it and said in my senior Government class...This man could be the next President and the first Black President of the USA. The year? 2006-2007 school year. Their reaction? They laughed and said..Hes not black. And I conceded he is mixed race but he was being promoted as black. I was correct, however. My prediction for 2016? IF Scott Walker is paired with Marco Rubio, the Republicans will win easily no matter who the Democrats run against them. Rubio WILL be the first Hispanic American President IF he can stay focused and not fall to scandal.....there will be a magnifying glass on his every move. Scott Walker wins as President. Yes, I like Ted Cruz and could be happy with Christie but for demographics, the two gentlemen Im picking are hard to beat. Rubio brings Florida and Walker, the MidWest. Should be fun...I knew Romney would lose, by the way (BTW).....as unpopular as Obama was, Romney could not overcome his Mormonism. Religion does still matter to many voters. Rubio is Ex-Mormon and thats why he wasnt picked before.....no one is worse than someone who leaves your religion. Mainstream denominations are comfortable for most people...even if they are just for show.
