Some of our Christmas in Wonderland Break guests have arrived early and are getting out and about while waiting for the festivities to begin. Some of their sightings include a lovely long session watching a Crested Tit in Anagach Woods as well as a good sighting of a male Crossbill, couple of Treecreepers and Great Spotted Woodpecker. Up at Rosemarkie two pairs of Red Breasted Merganser and a couple of Eider. A flock of around 500 Pink Feet near Fortrose and a trip out to Loch of Strathbeg had a Peregrine, Kestrel, loads of Wigeon, a Shoveller , 3 Little Egrets, a Tree Sparrow feeding on a feeder and several Lapwings among others. More guests arriving tonight ahead of the start of the festivities tomorrow.
