Some of the critical reforms of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathans administration. Now U have to go through Jamb before U gain admission into the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA). Unlike in the past where U had to just write the entrance exam of NDA. Now U must pass ur jamb before U can be qualified for the NDA entrance exam. U can check ur Jamb brochure to see NDA on the list of Institutions in Nigeria. This has greatly reduced the manipulation of NDA admission process. Currently, before U are recruited into the military. U must pass through the entrance exam that is usually conducted in all the command secondary schools all over Nigeria. Even within the military, before U are promoted U must pass ur promotion exam. These and many other reform processes has brought a lot of sanity to the Nigerian military system. This current administration signed into law the Freedom of Information Bill. President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan signed the Local content law in the Nigerian oil and gas into law in April 2010. This has made it possible for the increased ownership of oil facilities in Nigeria by Nigerians. For those that are not aware, due to this law all weldering jobs in Nigerian oil and gas Industry are now done by Nigerian welders. We have also seen increased participation of Nigerians in our oil and gas industry. Most onshore (land ) oil fields are been managed by Nigeria owned oil companies. Nobody seems to be talking about the complete privatization of Nigerias power sector by this administration.
