Some of the most serious and destructive damage in any relationship are those done from within. Friends who turn against friends. Family members who turn against their brothers and sisters and soldiers who turn against their comrades in arms. Same thing happens within the walls of a church. Wounding from another brother or sister in Christ, can be the most devastating. It is unfortunate but it happens. This is what we are here for. Not to shun, to condemn or even judge. But to do exactly as what we believe Jesus would do. To have an open heart, a listening ear and to be understanding. Often times it takes someone who has gone through similar experiences to understand the extent of the pain and the healing process that follows. The Lord has allowed us to go through that fire, so that we would be a useful tool in His hands to reach out to His precious children.
