Some of the things I thought about XB1 while driving... What do you guys think? Will the $100 extra for the Xbox One be worth it if... 1) Movies that released in theaters would be viewable through the Xbox One instead of going to the theater to see it. Basically you can buy tickets to view it from home! 2) Buy movies for super cheap and maintain a movie/series collection (Anime, Kung Fu Movies, your favorite classics, ect.) via XB1. Access your movies instantly just by logging in...whether your XB1 or a friends. 3) Buy entire music albums cheaper from your favorite artist significantly cheaper than retail. Majority of proceeds will go to the Artist/Band 4) Receive exclusive LIVE coverage for concerts, stand up comedy, tournaments, your cons (like comicon) that normally do not allow recording media 5) More live action trailer series (like Mortal Kombat Legacy, Halo, ect.) Majority of proceeds will go to the team producing the shows. 6) Exclusive access to open Beta games in development before they hit shelves 7) Pay 29.99 for a brand new release game for making a digital purchase. Bundle offer Strategy Guides with open forum architecture. Majority of the proceeds will go the the publishers and developers. 8) Exclusive access Video Chat/ Q&As sessions with video game and cosplay (...ahem...Jessica Nigri) celebrities, developers and companies. I personally do not watch TV but if Microsoft did these things.....my friends.....this will change not only the video game industry....this device will indeed change the electronic media industry. It will allow access to things that are not available at the moment. These items being available, of course, is only wishful thinking. Typically, from my experience, gamers are not narrow minded. We have specific taste but we even love things in association to the gaming lifestyle (I love certain animes, CLASSIC Kung Fu movies, video game tournaments, video game music symphonies and many other "nerdy" things). But, what if they are planning this right now.....would you still buy it?
