Some of us think we are stuck. Stuck in jobs. Stuck in relationships. And that all this stuff of work life balance is a joke, reserved for those who dont really have to work, be moms, or care for our businesses. I want to shine a light on this. I think its important for you to know that I speak about this not from a cushy place of having a partner who provides most of our income. My business is not a hobby. It is my livelihood & passions. Although I have responsibility to my young family, I also know that I have command of my life, my happiness, and what I choose to create in my life. If balance is what I want, I intend it, make choices that reflect it, and at times I fight for it. I dont hang in guilt but rather I choose what aligns with my desires. This was not always this way. Nope. I felt I was a victim to having to be the primary bread winner and that due to living in Boston with such high cost of living, meant I could not REALLY ask the Universe for what I wanted. More light to shine. Not true. We have choice every darn day. It may not feel like it, but we do. Some of us are scared if the unknown. Some of us are scared of what will happen if we ask our Manager for what we really need and want. Some of us live in such a constricted place with $ mula that we make choices out of fear. I get all that. Believe me. All of it. AND I also know that each of us deserves to live in LOVE, self love, for goodness sake! We deserve to feel nurtured, even if its only self nurture, and we deserve to live the life we want. Even if others will hate us for it. You deserve to live and love the life you want. But youre scared, I get it. So I want to offer you something...
