Some of yall done let the popularity of your ministry go to your head! The glory belongs to God not you. Dont think that just because a flock of people coming to your table and buying your shirts and cds that you are any better than the next person who is not selling as much as you are or even getting booked for a lot of shows. All these things will fade away what will only stand is the word of God. Help your brother or sister where they are lacking. Encourage each other. We are all SUPPOSE to be doing this to glorify our Father and try to win souls to Christ. This is not about money, popularity, or I got bars. If you are in this to get rich let me be the first to tell you there isnt a lot of money in this! As a matter of fact you will put out more than you receive. If it is about fame well let me also tell you that Christ is the only one who is SUPPOSE to be famous in anything we do. If it is about how much skills, wordplay, and metaphors you can say in one verse then you might want to check to see if the gospel fit in anywhere in that and check the motives of your heart. While im on this issue if you get a beat off of some of these worldly industry rappers and then SELL the music on a mix tape you could be sued if the artist found out!!!
