Some of you already know about the family problems but it is now time to tell the full story. On Wednesday the 10th of December Sarah Elizabeth Young had a massive asthma attack and was admitted to ICU at hull royal, on the Thursday morning I got a call telling me to bring the family in to say goodbye an hour later the consultant told us about a treatment called ECMO that was based in Leicester the ECMO team came down and operated at 7am and took Sarah to Leicester glenfield hospital to the unit where she was given a Tracheostomy to help her breath I came to stay in a flat on the hospital grounds to be with her. She has gradually improved and today she has been transferred back to hull to complete her recovery. The whole family would like to thank the dedicated staff at both hospitals who literally saved her life
