Some of you may remember Sam. He was surrendered to the shelter for kidney failure - however, we investigated further and discovered he was completely healthy and the real reason for his surrender was he was apparently not using the litter box in the home. We placed him in an office to learn about his litter box issues and found that he had no issues at the shelter. We made him available for adoption and he found a new home. Here is an update from his new family: I know Sam was popular at the shelter, so I wanted to give everyone a quick update on him. Hes settled in very well and hasnt had any accidents. We had him isolated for a few days and then when we put up a gate to introduce him to the family, he hopped right over and began exploring! Hes getting along great with our other cat Buddha, and two greyhounds Arya and Roland. Buddha and Sam love wrestling and chasing each other up and down the stairs. His nibbling has gotten more under control too now that he has a playmate. His favorite things are bird watching, chasing a laser pointer, and perching on the highest places he can reach! Thanks to everyone at the shelter for taking good care of him while he was there and special thanks to the generous volunteer who sponsored his adoption fee! Ive attached a few pictures of him in his new home.
