Some of you may remember my rant and manifesto from a couple of months ago about how much I despise the company I work for, and how fed up I am with their methods of operation for how they treat their employees. I went on to declare that I QUIT and that I would not be returning. It is with a massively bruised ego that I announce I will be returning to that place of employment beginning next month. Instead of going through the process of actual termination, I instead took a leave of absence which enabled me to retain the perks of the job without actually having to work there anymore. I did this with the intention of never returning and focused all of my attention and passion towards comedy and the stage. As it turns out, that leave of absence was recently terminated and I must now, begrudgingly, return to work. Throughout this ordeal I have come to realize a few things: 1) of you pray for humility dont expect not to get it! 2) it is important to realize that most of the time you are just a little fish in a big pond. 3) dont put all of your eggs in one basket. 4) the importance of having a well thought out, detailed plan of attack. 5) knowing what a well thought out, detailed plan of attack looks like. Now to all of you who have had my back from the beginning, there are WAY too many of you to individually call out, but I would like to say THANK YOU!!!! Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for your words of encouragement and for always pushing me to do my best! That means so much to me! I will remember to include you in my Oscar speech 30 years from now! ;)
