Some of you may remember the ride Like a pro event from a few months back that a few members rode. Yesterday was the grand final which I was lucky enough to attend, all the way up near Doncaster. The day was split into driving and cycling activities with a winner being the best overall. After the driving I was in 3rd place, and was quietly confident because the cycling was a 9.8 mi TT. This soon faded as I managed to fall off my bike about 0.1 mi into it. Got up dusted myself off and rode like hell. I had reserved myself to being 2nd or 3rd so when my name was called out as the best overall male I was speechless. In the end I got the overall win by 4 thousands of a second... So will get the chance in January to head out to Majorca and ride with Wiggins, Froome and a load of the GC teams for next year.
