Some of you may remember the young lady who wanted to join the military despite her family not agreeing with it. Here is her update: Hey Zane its Angel if you remember me Im the teenager who needed advice about women going into the military. Im just stopping by to update you on how everything is going First off I graduated High school last Friday(at the age of 17! Woot woot) ^_^ and got accepted into Oakland Community College Im still planning on following my dream of joining the Navy I passed my AVSAB and scored a 35! ^_^ and I will be leaving for basic in Sept. I cant say that Im not excited or scared because I am I honestly cant wait I finally had a talk with my grandmother and shes accepted my decision She says the proud of me for taking charge of my life and I am but for now until I leave in Sept I will be enjoying the summer while I can plus I will be 18 on the 27th of July so a lot of big things are happening for me but thats all I have to say sorry I took so long on this update Ill get back in touch with you soon -Angel- NavyGirl MY RESPONSE: Congrats, Baby Girl.
