Some of you might be able to help me with this. Since about a year - TopicsExpress

Some of you might be able to help me with this. Since about a year ago, I am hearing reports of alpacas being tested with SDs lower than 2.0 microns. Hearing this, I collated the results of 10,000 tests AAFT have completed over the past few months (Australian and NZ) and found about 5% with SD less than 3.5 microns, 0.4% with SD less than 3 microns and none with SD less than 2 microns. In fact I am sure that having tested 100,000s of alpacas over the years, I cant recall one alpaca with SD less than 2.0. I would love to get my hands on a midside sample from an alpaca tested with SD less than, say, 2.2 microns. If you send it to me, Ill cover postage and throw in 10 free tests to cover your effort. Thanks. Paul Vallely (AAFT)
